Badgerface fiber was born from the products we design in our on-the-farm woolen mill. Our first sheep was sold to us and came with an accidental name of "Badgerface" which is more of a description than a name! This sheep was the start of our woolen adventure and still resides on our farm as the matriarch of our flock. In the summer of 2022, we added to our mill and are now creating beautiful yarns and working with local artists to create unique patterns that feature our craft. The wool and fibers used in our products are all sourced locally, building a connection between the artists, the millers, and the shepherds, which can be felt in our beautiful products.
All of our fiber is small batch, unique, and limited much like other agricultural products that are very seasonal. If you see something you love, grab it because it might take a year before the sheep grow that wool for that specific blend again.
