2024 CSA winter share!!
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, shareholders invest in farms prior to items being ready for sale to support small scale farmers using sustainable practices. Since we are a farm we use this model, which is very similar to a yarn or fiber subscription. The season lasts from November to April and you get one share per month

Yarn whole- 300 yards
Yarn half- 150 yards
Roving whole - 6oz
Roving half -3oz
Pick up either at the farm or at a local event. Shipping is also an option.
Why a share? What does it matter? Shares help me pay the shepherds who grow the fleece more for their product, which in this industry is unheard of. It also supports me as I learn and grow in this role as a miller. The yarns I’ve produced in shares have ended up in the hands of dyers and designers, giving a new value and life to something that would have been discarded or burned. When you become a shareholder you not only support me and my farm, but also many other shepherds and farms in our area, and you get some pretty swanky fiber each month. You will also get a newsletter with each months share, which talks about the breed, the shepherds, the fibers and what I would recommend for it. It really is a cool way to learn and grow as a fiber artist.
